October 2016 – week 4

Happy Halloween, Little Sprouts! We hope all our little sprouts enjoy Halloween and get lots of treats!

To celebrate Halloween, we stamped paper using Jack O’ Lantern shapes that were carved from potatoes. We also decorated pumpkins with paint. We will send the pumpkins home after we finish decorating them on Tuesday. We enjoy watching their art skills improve every week! (Click on photos)

The biggest improvement this week from our little sprouts was how they interacted with each other. How cute they are when they play together, smile at, hug, mingle and giggle with each other! (Click on photos)

Thank you, Lucy W.’s mom and dad, for bringing yummy apple sauce, cheese sticks and raisins. They were so delicious and we enjoyed them a lot! (Click on photos)

Music class with Mr. Michael is always very active and interesting. Our little sprouts seemed much more comfortable with music class. Some of little sprouts sang and danced for the first time! We sang “Funga Alafia”, “We Are Monsters”, and “Ghost Busters” for Halloween. (Click on photos)

Spanish class was very successful again! Ms. Mowry said our class is the youngest but still the best! We were very proud of our little sprouts and so grateful to have these wonderful kids in our class! We learned about colors and sang “Itsy Bitsy Spider” and  “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” in Spanish.

Our sweet Ava turned two last Tuesday, and we celebrated her special day together. Ava’s mom and dad brought very yummy cupcakes for all of us. Thank you so much! Our little sprouts sang Happy Birthday for Ava and enjoyed eating the cupcakes. Everyone had a great time!

October was full of fun, laughter and exploration. We grew so much closer to each other. Our little sprouts felt more comfortable with sharing toys and playing together. We can’t wait to post how the first week of November will start.
